ZEMS for Management Institutes

Modules:
  • Student Information & Admission Management
  • This module is designed and implemented to assist the admissions office for managing the whole admission process. This module keeps all the details of students, which include personal details, marks, earlier academic records, student status, interview details, correspondence and many more. Short listing of students can be done automatically by the system by maintaining certain threshold eligibility criteria and the required documents for different streams. The system can send e-alerts to the students and after admission it also assigns roll no, ID cards & access cards etc.
  • Staff & Payroll management
  • This module manages the information about the teaching & non-teaching staff with the entire required / related documents.
  • Payroll Management
  • The salary calculation & payment of teaching/non-teaching staff can be done by this system. Details of salary split up, salary deduction, overtime, allowances, bonus, loss of pay, tax calculations etc can be maintained. Salary certificates, salary slip & other related statements can also be produced also it will keep all the details of staff information.
  • Fee Management
  • This section of the system manages the information of the Fees for students of different streams. It facilitates the fee deposit with fee receipt, gives information and reminders on non-reciept / overdue of fees, advance fee deposits and more.
    The data can be then linked to the main accounting software used in the College or for better integrated approach, institutes can opt for Financial Accounting module of ZEMS M.
  • Attendance Management
  • The attendance management module effortlessly tracks institute attendance data of students and the staff. Daily attendance & monthly attendance can be maintained, tallied; percentage calculation will be automatically done by the system. All required reports - class wise/student wise/month wise etc with reference to attendance can be generated. There is also an option of custom designing the system as per the needs of the clients. It can be interfaced with smart cards/ bar codes / finger print based biometric methods etc.
  • Timetable Management
  • The teaching staff usually spends a lot of time in timetable generation and timetable management. This module captures all parameters used in creating a college timetable and automatically creates one with its timetable generation tool. This institute timetable generation module also considers the availability of Professors / Lecturers and other resources while creating timetable. Moreover, changes can be easily made in the timetable as and when necessary depending on the availability of professors / lecturers, substitutes, students, technicians, lecture-rooms and lessons.
  • Examination Management
  • Examination management can be effectively used to create examination schedule for different classes. You just need to key in the marks of the students, system automatically does the rest, like calculating Rank and Division, printing mark sheets etc. Also the system facilitates the management of the examination process including schedule, classroom allocation, staff allocation, printing hall tickets etc. Further the solution has the capability of managing changing guidelines by the University the college is affiliated with.
  • Library Management
  • This module is very easily accessible and handy to the staff & students. List of available books is displayed online (OPAC). Alerts can be sent to users on due date, fine, submission delay/damaged/missing book report. This module also automates all the activities in a library including membership, storage, member details, list of available books, issues, returns, and other information associated with the library. It offers extensive analysis and reporting facilities. It provides online reservation and can file, record or search all kinds of media including books, magazines, newspapers, records, software, audio and video albums.   • Financial Accounting
  • This module streamlines the financial operations of an educational organization since it is built on a common centralized database & there is no duplicate entry of accounting related information. It is linked with all financial aspects in an Engineering Colleges. It gathers financial data from various functional departments, and generates/records valuable financial reports such balance sheet, general ledger, trail balance, cash flow, payable/receivable, profit & loss, quarterly/yearly financial statements, trial balance statement etc.
